It used to be a Petit Hotel with beautiful façade, built in 1913 at 31 Laprida Street, in front of Independence Square. There are different expositions rooms where several cultural activities have been carried out. Nowadays it belongs to Dr. Alberto Rougés Foundation of Miguel Lillo Institute.
This house was built in the XX century by the Majorcan architect José de Bassols. The high quality of the materials is at first sight inside the house: oaken inlay floors, wooden furniture, and decorative plaster ceilings.
