The architect Jorge de Lassaletta was in charge of repairing the building to become the first cultural centre in the north of Argentina. It was opened in 1984 and it is located at 265, 25 de Mayo Street, in the heart of the city centre.
Its amphitheatre has the capacity for 300 people and there are art exhibition rooms.
