Aconquija Local Park

Located in San Javier Mountains, it was created in 1936 and it covers 500 hectares. This park preserves Yunga Montana Jungle. It is a complement of the San Javier Biological Park and Horco Molle experimental Wildlife Park.

In Aconquija Provincial Park, it is possible to visit the natural forest, go fishing, go trekking, canoeing, ride bicycles or practice mountain biking and mountaineering surrounded by stunning landscapes.

In order to get here, you should take the Provincial Route Nº340. The route starts 12 km from San Miguel de Tucumán. Along the way, there are picnic areas.
