Villa Batiruana
Villa Batiruana

Located a few kilometers from the Escaba Dam is Villa Batiruana, a town that began as a camp for the workers who built the dam.
It sits in an unparalleled setting of lush nature, and one of its main attractions is an energy forest accessed via an easy trail that invites visitors to walk among centuries-old trees. The biodiversity of the area makes it one of the most important green spaces in Tucumán. The prevailing silence is broken only by the flow of the Marapa River, where waterfalls and natural pools form, and by the songs of the birds.
