Kayaking: Whether just 20 minutes from the capital or over 2,000 meters above sea level in the heart of the valley, Tucumán offers vast bodies of water ideal for kayaking or canoeing. It's worth noting that the province boasts state-of-the-art safety technology for this sport, which requires no prior experience.
Boat Trip: If you prefer a more leisurely activity to enjoy with family or friends, boat trips are an excellent option. Did you know you can sail on the Celestino Gelsi Dam aboard the Camakén, a vessel where you'll also learn about the history of El Cadillal and the dam's construction?
Canyoning: If you're an adrenaline junkie and love extreme sports, canyoning is definitely for you. This activity combines trekking, canyoning, rock climbing, and rappelling in the province's most stunning landscapes. We recommend that you ALWAYS do this activity accompanied by a certified guide.
Sport fishing: Did you know that Tucumán has a great diversity of species suitable for sport fishing? Among them are the silverside, trout, dorado, sábalo, tararira, boga, and catfish. The Los Sosa, Vipos, Chavarría, Pueblo Viejo, Marapa, Medinas, Gastona, and Salí rivers are the places where you can find them, depending on your location and the time of year. The La Angostura, Celestino Gelsi, and Escaba dams, and the Los Pizarro waterfall are also excellent locations for this activity.
