Tucumán has a great diversity of species suitable for sport fishing. Among them are silverside, trout, dorado (golden fish), tarpon, tararira, boga and catfish. Los Sosa, Vipos, Chavarría, Pueblo Viejo, Marapa, Medinas, Gastona and Salí rivers are where you can find them, depending on where you settle and the time of year you go. La Angostura, El Cadillal, Escaba and Los Pizarro are also excellent points for this activity.

Important: during closed seasons, it is prohibited to take fishing gear to the banks of rivers and dams.
