Historic House of Independence Museum - Casa Histórica de la Independencia
Historic House of Independence Museum - Casa Histórica de la Independencia

This is the most important building and museum in the country. The Argentine Independence was sworn in its halls on July 9, 1816. Its collection, comprised of objects from the colonial period, the Wars of Independence, and the 19th century, recreates the historical process that led to freedom. Its most valuable space is the Oath of Office Hall, where the Declaration of Independence is displayed.
The museum features an interactive exhibit that combines technological and digital resources. It also offers a perfect space for children to learn about history through games and educational tools.
One of its must-see attractions is the "Lights and Sounds of Independence" show, which is held Thursday through Sunday evenings, with a reservation required.
