Pachamama Museum
Pachamama Museum

Located in Amaicha del Valle, this museum known as "The Stone House" showcases the characteristic features of the Calchaquí Valley. Its halls contain collections of pre-Columbian pottery, utensils, clothing, instruments, and sculptures, as well as paintings and tapestries made from the wool of local animals.
One of the museum's main attractions is its fortress-like stone courtyard, where sculptures of Pachamama, Inti, Quilla, the two-headed viper of the Awada culture, the Moon Warrior, and the table of the 12 chiefs are displayed.
