Kayaking: Whether 20 minutes from the capital or more than 2,000 meters above sea level in the middle of the valley, Tucumán offers vast bodies of water perfect for kayaking or canoeing. It's worth noting that the province has high-safety technology for this sport, which requires no prior experience.
Boat Trip: If you're looking for a more relaxed activity to enjoy with family or friends, boat trips are a great choice. Did you know you can cruise the Celestino Gelsi Dam on the Camakén, a vessel where you can also learn about the history of El Cadillal and the dam's construction?
Canyoning: If you're a fan of adrenaline and extreme sports, canyoning is definitely for you. It's an activity that combines trekking, rafting, rock climbing, and rappelling in the most attractive settings in the province. We recommend that you ALWAYS carry out this activity accompanied by a licensed guide.
Sport fishing: Did you know that Tucumán offers a wide variety of species suitable for sport fishing? These include silverside, trout, dorado, tarpon, tararira, boga, and catfish. The Los Sosa, Vipos, Chavarría, Pueblo Viejo, Marapa, Medinas, Gastona, and Salí rivers are spots where you can find them, depending on your location and the time of year. The La Angostura, Celestino Gelsi, and Escaba dams, along with the Los Pizarro waterfall, are also great locations for this activity.
