New travel trends: “We had a real trip with my friends.”
Juan planned his trip to Tucumán entirely through the Entity's official website and its new personalized itinerary. In this interview, he tells us about his experience.

Travel planning methods have transformed over time, and tourists prefer more personalized experiences tailored to their own tastes and needs. This was the concern of Juan F., a young man from Tucumán who planned his trip around the province with his group of friends, some of whom were from the nation's capital.
The goal was to explore as many destinations as possible and engage in several activities to make the most of their stay. To achieve this, he relied solely on our website and its latest addition: an itinerary that allows you to easily and engagingly discover everything the province has to offer.
"As a Tucumán native, it was up to me to organize the entire trip, and I feel that the website is more than enough to plan everything: places to visit, information on guides and service providers, and even exact transportation information for those without a vehicle," said the young man.
His itinerary included trips through different circuits such as the Historic City, the Yungas, and the Calchaquí Valley. Regarding this last point, he commented: “I thought about visiting El Mollar to go kayaking on the dam, an activity we all enjoyed, and contacting the provider was super easy. He had a catalog of excursions and was very willing to tailor the experience to our preferences. He even offered us transportation to and from our accommodation,” the young man explained.
The group of friends also wanted to see the province's archaeological remains and taste its high-altitude wines, something that was made possible through a guide. “I looked up the different activities in the Itinerary and shared it with my group via WhatsApp so they could give me an idea of? What they wanted to do. The idea was to see as many places as possible in the shortest amount of time possible to make the most of the day. With the description, I searched for guides to find something similar to what we were looking for. One suggested a comprehensive itinerary that included the Pachamama Museum and a winery with full wine tastings, and we ended up with something quite personalized and at a very reasonable price. He also factored in our lunch and contacted us from our accommodation,” the young man said about his experience.
The trip continued through the Yungas Circuit, and once again, the website was essential for learning about the many activities on offer. “It really helped us plan the entire day in San Javier, including visits to the Horco Molle Reserve, the eco-trails, and even eating with the incredible view from the hill.” Finally, a visit to the capital's Historic Center and the main museums, such as the Casa Histórica (Historic House), the Museum of Sacred Art, and the Provincial Historical Museum, was a must. "With the website, I was able to see which ones were open at that time, and all the information was organized and easy to understand."
One of the main points Juan highlighted was the ease of accessing transportation information, which, according to our surveys, is one of the most frequently explored sections by users: "Having the ticket office numbers really made everything easier for us, and I didn't have to look for information anywhere else," the young man from Tucumán stated.
In conclusion, Juan highlighted the differences he noticed between this tourist experience and previous ones. "This time, we had a truly unique excursion with my friends. They were surprised by the number of activities there are to do in Tucumán," the young man concluded.
