San Pedro de Colalao
The famous Branch of Heaven invites you to live an exciting experience connecting with your faith.

San Pedro is known as the Branch of Heaven, and how could it not be with these paradisiacal landscapes?
A summer town by excellence is San Pedro de Colalao which has countless attractions to discover. Its well-kept Leocadio Paz square has bars around it that become the perfect place to meet with family and friends. In front of the square, the Civic Cultural Center functions as a convening node for different social activities of the town, especially in the summer and winter seasons. A few meters from the square it is also possible to see the vestiges of the Candelaria and Santa María cultures in the Doctor Manuel García Salemi Museum.
San Pedro is also a destination with important archaeological wealth. Among its heritage, Piedra Tallada (carved rock) stands out, where you can see signs carved by ancestral cultures in honor of fertility and crops.
Known as the Branch of Heaven for the presence of a replica of the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, San Pedro is the ideal destination to connect with your faith. Since 2023, the site has offered the mapping show “Appearance of the Mother of God” which is projected at dusk and constitutes a true immersive catechesis that thrills every viewer.
With numerous trails and viewpoints that allow you to appreciate the town from above, San Pedro is also a perfect destination for outdoor adventure. One of the main walks is the one that culminates at the Puente del Indio (the bridge of the Aboriginal), a natural bridge formed by the erosion of time and water. Another of the obligatory walks is the Monte Bello natural viewpoint, from which you can see the town in all its splendor.

One of the must-sees in San Pedro is the Dr. Manuel García Salemi Archaeological Museum.
