Located just 12 kilometers from San Miguel de Tucumán, Tafí Viejo is recognized throughout the country as the National Capital of Lemon, because it is the largest producer and exporter of this fruit. Likewise, its growth and development was linked to the railway workshops, which gave it a great boost due to the multiplied effect of this undertaking.
