High Altitude Wine Route
High Altitude Wine Route
One of the best ways to experience a destination is through its aromas and flavors, and wines are an example of this. This tour that extends through the Valley will delight your palate and soul.

Currently 11 Tucumán wineries offer some type of tourist service. Get to know them!
One of the must-sees to include in your visit to Tucumán is the High Altitude Wine Route, a circuit of wineries and vineyards distributed along routes 40 and 307. You will be able to taste our delicious high-altitude wines grown in the spirit of Pachamama and learn about different proposals, from home-made and artisanal producers to more industrialized processes, in addition to touring the first community winery in Latin America and the third in the world.
Currently, 11 enterprises offer touristic services, whether guided tours or gastronomic or accommodation services. In addition, the High Altitude Wine Route allows a perfect pairing with other activities to take advantage of during your trip through the mythical Calchaquí Valley, such as visiting different towns and archaeological sites, among which Talapazo, the Sacred City of Quilmes and the Ruins of Quilmes and Condorhuasi stand out.
Did you know that our valley is the ideal setting for growing grapes? This is due to its great thermal amplitude, its cold climate in winter, hot and dry in summer and high exposure to the sun almost all year round. This is one of the highest wine production areas in the world.
How to recognize a Tucumán wine? Our wines are intense, with great aroma and color structure. They are of high quality, very concentrated and have a good amount of alcohol.
