Located in the heart of the city, in front of Independence Square, it is a mansion that belonged to Don Ángel Padilla and his wife Lastenia Frías, a traditional family from Tucumán. Built around 1860, it is one of the main exponents of Italianate architecture of that time. Its collection includes pieces of decorative and oriental art, original elements from Europe, the East and Egypt, oil paintings by important artists and furniture belonging to the house's owners, and other famous figures of Tucuman's history.

July: From Tuesday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free entrance.
