Site of interest within the Route of Faith, this museum exhibits the strong Catholic tradition that identifies Tucumán.

In this museum you can see the links woven between the Catholic Church and Tucumán society.
Located in the Historic Center of the city, it was founded in 1968 as a museum of the Cathedral Church and since 2001 it has had its new headquarters and belongs to the Archdiocese of Tucumán. Its collection exhibits pieces that reflect the history and art of the Catholic Church and Tucumán society from the 17th century to the present, represented by the fusion between Spanish and indigenous culture. It is possible to see paintings, sculptures, silverware ornaments and furniture throughout its five rooms. Its heritage includes the ancient Peruvian high oil painting that represents the Virgin of the Rosary of Pomata, the neoclassical painting of the Conversion of Saint Paul and an embroidered Chasuble from the 18th century that belonged to the church of Santa María Magdalena de la Compañía de Jesús in Tucumán.

July: From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
General admission: $1,000. Children under 12 get in free. Retirees get in free on Tuesdays.
