This museum allows you to learn about the history of Tafí Viejo and its close connection with the railway. In it you can see machines, devices and electromechanical instruments, in addition to tools and photographic archives, all of them dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The guides explain to people what the golden years of Tafí Viejo were like, the cradle of the most important railway workshops in Latin America, the Historic process marked by the railway and how it had an impact on the idiosyncrasy and collective memory of the people of Tafi Viejo and Tucumán.
