The vestiges of the province's past can be discovered in this enclosure that adorns San Pedro de Colalao.

You can see mortars, funeral urns and work tools.
It is located a few meters from the main square Leocadio Paz in San Pedro de Colalao and operates in the old Indigenous town hall, a historic construction that dates back to 1850. In this space, you can see various archaeological finds, from ceramics to mortars, funeraries urns and work tools of the Santa María and Candelaria cultures. Also, the personal elements of the geologist García Salemi, one of the most important scholars of the archeology of Tucumán, are shown in the museum.
