Welcome to Tucumán!


Welcome to the Cradle of Independence, the Garden of the Republic!


Tucumán is located in Northwest Argentina and is bordered by the provinces of Salta, Santiago del Estero, and Catamarca.


Its main access point is Teniente Benjamín Matienzo International Airport, which connects the province to national and international destinations.

The climate in Tucumán is subtropical, with very hot summers with temperatures ranging between 30° and 40°C and short but intense winters that sometimes reach almost 1°C in the city and below zero in the valley.


The ideal time to visit the province is during autumn (March-May) and spring (September-November) due to its mild climate.

Prices in Tucumán are affordable compared to other tourist destinations in Argentina.

While credit cards and payment platforms are accepted, it is recommended to carry cash when visiting rural areas with limited internet access.

Bring sunscreen and insect repellent, especially if visiting in summer.

Wear suitable footwear for hiking and mountain trails if you plan on doing these activities.
