If you come to visit us for a short time and want to take a short tour of the province, we will show you some places that make up the must-see places of Tucumán. You can visit some towns located less than an hour away from the capital, walk through the Historic City and taste our typical foods such as the famous empanada and the “milanesa sandwich”.
Day 1: Historic City and El Cadillal Dam
- Tour the Historic Center of the city and visit the Historic House of Independence Museum. Remember that at night the show "Lights and Sounds of Independence" is offered and tickets are sold at the box office in the afternoon.
- Walk through Independencia Square and admire the most varied facades of the historic buildings around it.
- Visit the emblematic religious temples of the city such as the Cathedral Church and the Basilica of La Merced.
- Just 30 minutes by car you arrive at El Cadillal Dam, where you can enjoy gastronomic, cultural, and sports proposals.
- Water adventure: kayaking, boat riding
- Land adventure: cycling, hiking
- Adventure by air: chairlift, zip lining, rappelling

Day 2: Yerba Buena and San Javier
- Travel 30 minutes along Mate de Luna Avenue until you reach Yerba Buena, which awaits you with bars, shopping malls, and shopping walks. Closer to the foothills you find the Horco Molle Reserve and the Botanical Garden.
- Going up the winding route of 100 curves to San Javier you arrive at the Cristo Bendicente Complex which offers gastronomy, shopping, sports activities, and a mapping show that is projected at night.
- Land adventures: hiking, horseback riding, cycling, and bird watching among others.
- Adventure by air: paragliding and zip lining.
