Trancas
Trancas
Trancas awaits you with priceless treasures from the Tucumán Faith Route.

The Temple of the Sacred Heart is one of the landmarks of Trancas.
A city with enormous historical weight for the province and the country's independence. Visitors can tour the Old Town of Trancas, where you can visit a testimony of the past, the temple of the Sacred Heart, whose walls witnessed the execution of the first Governor of Tucumán, Bernabé Aráoz, and the baptism of the famous sculptor Lola Mora.
Just 6 kilometers from Trancas is the Pozo de San Francisco Solano (San Francisco Solano's Well), a fountain with miraculous waters that remembers the saint's passage through the place.
Trancas is home to one of the most important festivals in the province: the Provincial Horse Festival, which is an interesting offer to enjoy every year in October. During the festival it is possible to see troop parades, dressage, rein games and a large artistic billboard with nationally renowned musicians.
