Monteros is popularly known as the Fortress of Folklore and Randa's National Capital, a delicate craft of interwoven threads introduced in colonial times.

Its main public promenade is the Plaza Bernabé Aráoz, surrounded by the Our Lady of The Rosary Parish Church and a varied gastronomic offer that lights up during the Monteros nights.

Every October, this city receives hundreds of visitors at its "Monteros de la Patria" festival, which surprises with important artistic lineups.

From the city, it is possible to visit nearby natural reserves such as La Florida, Los Sosa, and Quebrada del Portugués.
