The Los Pizarro waterfall is an ideal option to cool off in a dream environment.
In the south of the province is La Cocha. It combines nature and super-rich history to discover.
One of the main sites of interest is the San Ignacio Jesuit Church, declared a National Historical Heritage and where San Ignacio de Loyola's Feast is celebrated every July 31.
Outdoor sports lovers also have several treasures to discover such as the ancient Rumi Punco Tunnels that allow trekking that includes incredible waterfalls. These constructions were part of a railway project that in the past sought to unite the region with the provinces of Catamarca, Salta, and Jujuy. This project was abandoned and the gigantic tunnels remained as historical testimony and an attractive walk. The most adventurous can also visit another natural jewel of La Cocha: Los Pizarro Waterfall, which at 80 meters high is the highest in the region and allows you to cool off in an incredible lagoon of crystal-clear water.

The Church of San Ignacio is testimony to the presence of the Jesuit order in the province.
