Faith Route in the Historic City - San Miguel de Tucumán

Religion plays a key role when visiting cities and countries worldwide, with faith serving as the main influence. Tucumán is no different, and within each of its tourist routes, you can find sites and temples of significant religious, historical, and cultural importance.
In the Historic City, some temples are a must-see for all tourists, especially those interested in religious tourism. These include the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Incarnation, the largest temple in the province, located across from Independence Square; the Basilica of Our Lady of Mercy, which houses important relics from the country's history; the Santo Domingo Church, located next to one of Tucumán's main universities; and the Church and Convent of San Francisco, which is currently undergoing renovation.
