Located an hour and a half walk from the center of San Pedro de Colalao is Piedra Tallada, one of its most valuable relics. The large rock was discovered in 1877 and features 45 carved figures of birds and other animals. Although its significance is unknown, it is believed that they are related to fertility and harvest cults.

It is recommended to visit the site accompanied by a local guide because the route involves crossing the Tipas River.
