Located about 30 kilometers from San Miguel de Tucumán, in Burruyacu, this is the site where General José de San Martín rested in 1814, before embarking on the liberation campaign of Argentina, Chile, and Peru.
The museum displays audiovisual material, books, San Martín iconography, and a replica of the curved saber that the Father of the Nation used in the battles of Independence.
