Monteros
Monteros

Popularly known as the fortress of folklore and the national capital of the randa, a delicate handicraft of interwoven threads, Monteros is a cultural gem in southern Tucumán.
Its main public walkway is Plaza Bernabé Aráoz, which is bordered by the Parish Church of Our Lady of the Rosary and features a diverse array of dining options that continue into Monteros nights.
Every October, the city hosts the festival "Monteros de la Patria," which features impressive artistic billboards of national and international stature.
