Lules

Undoubtedly, one of the must-see attractions of this destination is the Ruins of San José de Lules, located on Provincial Route 301, which serve as an important record of the Spanish conquest era. Here, the first public school in the country was established, and it was also where the Jesuits first cultivated sugarcane in Tucumán.
Another main attraction is La Quebrada (The Ravine), accessible from the left bank of the river, ideal for nature enthusiasts to walk along the trails and cool off in the water. Additionally, nearby, there's a complex with pools and facilities where you can spend a full day during the warm months.
If you are interested in learning about its religious tourism, you can visit the Founding Church, the first public building made in 1851 by the founder of the city.
