Eastern Tucumán combines history, nature, and culture. It boasts an extraordinary green Yungas landscape, with mountains to the west and Chaco forests and plains to the east. The region played an important role in the country's independence struggle. It also has enormous potential for the development of rural tourism, reflected in the large number of entrepreneurs who market a variety of artisanal products.

The circuit encompasses the Burruyacú department, encompassing the towns along Provincial Routes 305, 310, and 304: El Timbó, El Naranjo, and El Sunchal; Villa Padre Monti; Río Nío; Los Chorrillos; El Chañar; El Puestito; Villa Burruyacú; El Rodeo; and La Ramada de Abajo, among others.

During your visit to the Eastern Productive Route, which can be completed in two intense days, you'll learn about the production process for a variety of products, including natural orange juice (without additives), honey, and fig vinegar, among many others.

Jugos CyN ( CyN Juices)

This business, located in the El Timbó Viejo area, allows you to harvest the oranges that will later be used to make 100% natural juice (no preservatives) while you observe the entire process. Tastings of the orange and lemon juice are also offered, and you can purchase the products.

Higos Felices (Happy Figs)

This business is located in El Timbó Viejo and takes advantage of the fertile soil and the full Tucumán sun to produce high-quality figs that are used for fresh consumption and for making syrups and jams. Through a careful fermentation and storage process of the best sweet, ripe fruit, it is possible to produce a differentiated product, considered 100% natural and artisanal: aged fig vinegar.

La Carola Miel (La Carola Honey)

This business, located in El Timbó, has been dedicated to beekeeping and the production and sale of honey, pollen, royal jelly, and propolis for many years. In the region, bees produce a high-quality orange blossom honey, which is used for farming. This citrus honey (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, and lemon) is typical of the province of Tucumán. The bees sip the juice from a wide variety of flowers (carob, quebracho, mistole, chañar, and atamisquis, among others), and produce a mountain honey with a more intense flavor, a darker color, and a more aromatic aroma, ideal for sweetening, cooking, and seasoning meats.

El Timbó Kartódromo

East Tucumán also invites you to put your passions first and challenge your limits on the El Timbó karting track. The business is located in El Timbó Viejo (Route 312, Km. 19) and offers the option of renting go-karts for a unique day out with family and friends.
