Located in El Pichao, 8 kilometers from Colalao del Valle, these ruins were the site where some aborigines took refuge after the fall of the Quilmes into the hands of the Spanish in 1667. You will tour the central part, which consists of a covered surface with cultivation terraces, irrigation works, and housing structures made of stone, similar to those of the Quilmes. Another interesting tour is that carried out in cemeteries, where you will learn curious facts such as the burials of adults made in stone baskets or those of children, buried in pottery urns. You will have to walk approximately 300 meters to discover these archaeological remains on the banks of the Pichao River.
