In January, Tafí del Valle celebrates yerbiao (an alcoholic drink made with yerba mate), a traditional infusion made from indigenous peoples, made with yerba mate, alcohol, sugar, and local herbs. Parades, horseback riding, taming, and branding are some of the activities to enjoy.
