Ampimpa: To see the stars closer

In Ampimpa Astronomical Observatory Entrance, there is a sign which says “a window to the universe”.  Nothing is more certain. The sun and the moon can be seen closer because of a telescope which reflects the images on a wide screen.

Although everybody can visit it, it is a special opportunity for children to learn and know about astronomy.  Nothing is better than being in a place surrounded by hills and mountains which make the visit more attractive.

Around 80% of the activities at the Observatory are dedicated to educational purposes.  Many professionals teach children curiosities about the solar system and the moon.  Guided visits are carried out too.  Without any doubt, this is an unforgettable activity.
