Arts and Culture

To talk about Tucuman is to talk about art and culture. The province offers a wide variety of possibilities if you want to learn about local culture and therefore the national one. It is not by chance that Tucuman was declared Historical City at 1999. Apart from being the cradle of Argentinean Independence, the “garden city” also holds a unique heritage regarding culture and arts.

The province owns some of the most important museums and theatres of the country.  Throughout the year local, national and international works, are performed at different theaters and cultural centers across the province. Each of them very comfortable, spacious, and with a native architectural mark such as “Timoteo Navarro” museum, San Martin or Alberdi Theatres.
